It’s been a fair bit of time since I’ve made a post, and I can tell you its not from a lack of image production on my side. I’ve made some noteworthy in-roads professionally in commercial photography, working more in Manhattan, which can be intermittently fun, exciting, harrowing, etcetera. In 2018 I’ve focused on a few things; workflow, auto focus point placement, a little extra depth of field in certain situations, stressing low ISO, working on my color, added a Wacom tablet, added a more accurate 4k monitor, lots of fine tuning. Professionally I began working with medium format, shooting jewelry, retouching soft goods, beauty, working more with gifs, video. A veritable roller coaster for certain.
On the wildlife front, I’ve stayed closer to home and used familiarity to breed opportunity. But when it comes to hawks, its often chance. I have a large backlog of work to put on here, but I figure I’ll start with these flashy raptors from 2018 and early ’19. Thanks for viewing!
