Desert Spring Oasis

I was lucky enough to get an invite westward with my family for my parents 30th anniversary, to our once home; San Clemente California. I tucked my gear in my new Manfrotto gear bag and flew off to LAX, not so much thinking that I’d have many opportunities for birds, as it was to be one of those vacations where you are busier than one should ever be. But I snuck away more than a few times, and had most of my luck once we went off to Palm Springs, in California’s Sanoran Desert. A veritable oasis, which attracted a few seldom seen birds I was glad to have spotted . Thanks for viewing!

  1. Fantastic birds, my favorite being the first picture of the Little Egret. Of course, the Desert Springs photo is just breathtaking!
